We pasted a transparent sticker over the door, basically invisible from far.
Benefit is that we can do very complicated designs with thin lines, without printing out a border
If his is a black car, the result will be totally different, there will be a white border all around the drawings. Something like the pic below, notice the white borders around the cartoon characters...
